Michael Dellis
Michael brings to his work a background in fine arts, art history, and theater and is fascinated by the interplay of art, landscape, and human scale.
Michael is a Design Partner at PWP whose work spans a diverse range of scales and typologies including public civic spaces, cultural gardens, corporate headquarters, academic campuses, airports, memorials, and competitions. Michael brings to his work a background in fine arts, art history, and theater and is particularly fascinated by the interplay of art, landscape, and human scale. Michael worked extensively on the National September 11th Memorial in New York, Jewel Changi Airport in Singapore, Salesforce Park in San Francisco, and Barangaroo in Sydney. His current projects include a 250 acre Technology Campus in Korea, the Hong Kong New Central Harbourfront, and 2 Murray Rd.
From his years prior to PWP, Michael brings professional experience working in Urban Design and is especially interested in the creation of civic landscapes. Educated at Cornell University, Michael received a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture with Honors and a concentration in Art and Art History. Michael has served on juries for international design competitions and received numerous awards including the Mehan and Thomas H. Johnson awards for design excellence.
