PWP Landscape Architecture has developed a tradition of design practice that responds to as well as influences its environment. For over 30 years, the partners, associates, and staff have brought a range of interests and expertise together around our shared ambition to create legible, beautiful, and enduring places.

Our design process combines knowledge of history and tradition with fluency in contemporary landscape debate. We bring our mastery of construction to bear on the latest technologies and innovations. We draw on our extensive experience with project delivery in some of the world’s most politically and physically complex environments to address the challenges of each project.

We believe that humans are an inseparable part of landscape ecologies. We work diligently to balance constructed and natural systems and are passionate about finding beauty in both. Our constructions initiate relationships between site systems – social, economic, and ecological – that are unique to each place. Our designs tailor the performance of landscapes to the programmatic needs of each project and the realistic budgets of each client. Ultimately, our proposals allow for straightforward and seemingly simple construction of landscapes that link the natural world and the human environment.
