Jay Swaintek has managed numerous projects ranging in complexity, character, scale and budget, his role transitioning through the entire design process as he builds design consensus while providing technical know-how.

Jay Swaintek is the Managing Partner of PWP Landscape Architecture. He leads the operations of the firm and oversees all projects, ensuring that the team has the necessary support to deliver project deadlines and goals on time and on budget. Jay’s management and direction help make PWP’s acclaimed projects successful from multiple perspectives. His collaborative projects have been honored with international, regional, state, and local awards for design excellence. Jay’s aptitude for leading large project team collaborations in all phases of the work is recognized by clients, colleagues, design teams, and builders alike. Jay has managed the design, construction documentation, coordination, and administration on many projects, including the First Responder’s Memorial at the National 9/11 Memorial, Barangaroo Reserve, Speedway Mall at UT Austin, One Vanderbilt Plaza, VMware Headquarters, Constitution Gardens on the National Mall, among many others.
