Xian Wu

Xian received a Master of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Beijing Forestry University.

During her graduate study she sought to reveal the hidden beauty of the site and proposed sustainable and interactive strategies through landscape design and public engagement. Her focus on the dynamic character of landscape architecture also helped to develop interests in urban hydrology and working with natural processes. Prior to her Master’s degree, she worked in Beijing, where she participated in various types of projects, including mix-use, workplace, urban parks and residential projects.
